Cosmetology
The Cosmetology program is a two-year program that is designed to introduce students to fundamental training and experiences needed for successful Ohio State Board of Cosmetology licensing. The knowledge and skills include sanitation procedures, anatomy and physiology, basic chemistry, business management, hair care procedures, skin care, nail care, salon safety procedures.
English and Math credit is required for both years. A 150 hour salon internship is required for students in their Senior year. Students will practice on mannequins. Upon successful testing, the students will practice on customers in a salon setting at the school.
